Which one of these ideas do you think would work best for our second wedding?
My husband asked me to marry him again not to long ago. He got down on one knee when we we’re out on our last date, and proposed. I was shocked to say the least. He doesn’t care what we wear, or when the wedding is just as long as it makes me happy. We had a really miserable wedding day and no honeymoon. So he said that he wants to marry me all over again, and give me the wedding and honeymoon of my dreams. This made me cry. Here are my ideas so far. These are just ideas not final plans, and nothing is set in concrete. Most of these ideas will depend on his deployment schedule as well. He leaves sometime in 2010. We do know we want our second wedding to happen sometime in 2011. So these ideas are contingent of leather sheath work when he leaves and comes back from deployment. There won’t be any guests invited nor will there be a formal reception. The only people involved will be me, my husband and our son. Idea 1: Vegas! Hit up the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel with an Elvis Tribute Artist. 50’s style of clothing. Hubby and son in a pair of levis, white shirt, black boots, and leather jackets. Me in a poodle skirt, white blouse, bobby socks and white shoes. This idea would be planned for our actual 10th wedding anniversary for early spring. Idea 2: Late spring (after our 10th wedding anniversary). Go to a local park with a pretty rose garden. Hubby and Son in a pair of dark Khaki slacks, cream colored Polo shirts, dark brown shoes and belt. Me in a knee length dark Khaki skirt, cream colored blouse, and dark khaki pumps. I’m not sure about the jewelry for this outfit. Idea 3: Summer! Head to The Shenandoah National Park. Hubby, Me and our son would wear dark wash jeans, white button down shirts (probably long sleeved), and some sort of neutral colored shoes. Get married under a lovely waterfall. Idea 4: Early Fall. Stay Local. Have our ceremony at a lovely B&B where we live. Eat dinner, and stay there over night. Hubby and Son would wear a pair of dress slacks, button down shirt. I would wear a knee length sheath dress that I made. Our son would spend the night with someone that we know. Well these are my ideas so far. I am just asking for positive feed back. I know we’re already married, but this second wedding really means a lot to both me and my husband. Please no rude answers. Thank you.
