I highly recommend leather paint effects. I think it was the best investment I did.

What colour should I paint my kitchen ?
We are just renovating our kitchen/dining room by knocking down the wall and making a large “family room”.At one end of the room will be the kitchen area – light oak units with a black worktop (stainless steel appliances), plus an island unit.In the middle area of the room will be our dining area – light oak table and black leather chairs. The other end of the room will be the “family” area – a green settee leather paint effects and chair, coffee table etc. There is quite a bit of light in the room (large patio door, 2 windows and a lagere door onto the conservatory) but it has in the past had atendencyy to feel a little dark and sometimes cold (some extra radiators should help to solve that problem I hope). The rooms looks out onto the garden too (west facing)Question is what colour would you paint the walls – and any idea what flooring and colour to go for?Myinitiall thoughts were to do three walls in a warm cream and then have an accent wallbehindd the green settee) maybe in red or gold …. nice and warm colours which should hopefully make the room feel warm and cozy.As for the flooring Ilike thehe idea of a tiled effect – maybe amtico or something …. in a warm brown ?Any suggestions ?(The rest of the downstairs area is cream and golden tones so that would flow quite nicely. We like most colours) !
