My saddle is cracking. Help with oil?
I just bought a used leather western saddle. I cleaned it, and put this conditioner on it, but it is still leather oil conditioner dry as a bone. It almost looks peely and cracked. I am trying to get a straight answer about oiling a saddle. I hear all kinds of different stuff…olive oil? No oil? Oiling the underside of the saddle? Huh? I am so confused. I just want this saddle to last, and not crack. Thanks!
