♥ What do you think about the book I wrote ♥?
Hi, I was wondering what you thought of my book. Warning: It’s kind of long. So please read it and tell me what you think of it! Thanks!Chapter 1My trembling hands were pressed firmly against the cold, hard wall. I would have been shivering with cold, if I had not already been shivering with fright. I gazed down the long, dark road at him. His ruby eyes gleamed wickedly in the moonlight. If I could have run, I would have. But for some reason, I could not summon my legs to move. I couldn’t even breathe.”Hello.” he purred in a seductive voice as he slowly made his way towards me. He gently placed his ice cold hands on the base of my neck and whispered, “This will only hurt a lot.” He lowered his head and inhaled at my throat. Then slowly, I could feel his cold lips part. For a second, I felt a moment of pure pain, and then absolutely nothing.”He’s killed me.” were the last words I remember thinking, before I drifted into unconsciousness. I awoke to the sound of gurgling water and chirping birds. Where am I? I wondered to myself, as I tried to figure out where I was. I saw that I was lying in a wooded place, such a woody place, that branches of trees were sticking into me, and I could barely move. With some difficulty, I struggled my way out of the woods, and looked up. I found that I was now in a lush, green meadow, about the size of a baseball field. It was full of trees of every sort, beautiful flowers, and a single Weeping Willow standing over a dazzling, turquoise waterfall that fed into a small lake of the purest blue you can imagine. I was so captivated by the place, that I stood gawking for about five minutes, before leather hair tie with wooden stick I decided that I should have a look around. I took a few steps closer to the waterfall when I realized that there was an old stone cottage nestled in some trees behind the waterfall. I ventured a little closer to the cottage, wondering who might live here. Just when I thought that, the old wooden door to the cottage creaked open, and a plump, old man stepped out. I stood there puzzled. For although he had frizzy, gray hair and a pot-belly, he still looked somewhat beautiful – beautiful, very pale, and very still.”Hello, I am Henry. I’d bet you are very confused right now, so why don’t you come in and sit for a while.” he said to me, with a friendly Irish accent.”Alright.” I agreed, as I stepped into his inviting house. His house was larger on the inside than I would have guessed, then I added, “This is a lovely house you have here.”"Why, thank you very much! How about you come into the sitting room, and meet my family, then we can have a nice, long talk.” I admired his house as I made my way to the sitting room. He had a very lovely house. There was a lot of different pieces of furniture – an Egyptian vase, an old English desk, a Venetian rug, tons of ancient-looking books, and a modern leather couch. They were all very different, but they tied the room together to make a worldly, appealing effect.”Ah, here we are.” Henry told me, “Everyone, come in here, we have a guest!”Chapter 2″Coming!” a cheerful, feminine voice called. Then around the corner came a very pretty girl, about my age. She had an ivory-colored, heart-shaped face with a sprinkling of freckles around her nose. Bouncy, red hair framed her lovely face. It was styled into a cute shoulder-length style. Her wide, almond shaped, light lavender eyes looked at me and she smiled a beautiful smile.”Hi! I’m Eloise, you can call me Ellie. What’s your name?”"I’m Scarlett. Nice to meet you.” I stuck my hand out for her to shake. She took my hand gladly, and pumped it quickly up and down.”It’s so nice to finally have a visitor around here! And I’m sorry, not everyone can come to meet you right now. Everyone else is off hunting.”"Now we can sit down and talk.” Henry urged”I bet you’re wondering why you are here. Well . . . first, look at Ellie and me. What do we both have in common?”"Well, you both are very pale, very beautiful. And your eyes are a color I’ve never seen before.”"Do you have any idea what we are?” Henry asked.”Um . . . no, should I?”"Do you remember anything before you woke up in this forest?”"Wait . . . I remember, it was very dark and cold. I was out past my curfew, and I was on my way home. I realized that I was being followed. So I tried to get away from whoever was following me. After a while of walking, I came to a dead-end. Then he came closer to me, and, I was hurting so badly, and the next thing I remember, I woke up in this forest.”"Ellie,” Henry started, “Go fetch a mirror for Scarlett, please.” I saw Ellie get up and come back so quickly, I wasn’t sure if I actually saw her do it.”Here you go, Scarlett. Take a look at yourself.” I took the mirror and raised it to my eyeThanks! And Private Girl, what could I make them into if they aren’t vampires?Oops . . . I meant to say Pirate Girl, not Private Girl. Sorry . . .Yeah, I guess they shouldn’t be vampires. (There are too many vampire books these days.) But what should they be then? Werewolves? Fairies? Ghosts? Mermaids?
