Remembering your comments about your “Coma Girl” poem. I wont critique in my normal manner, as you could guess i find this “wordy” Poets are of all differing views as to what constitutes a poem as opposed to a story. One of my mentors told me that “I need to give the drummer a chance” Which i understood as there is a different beat a different sense of rhythm for poetry.What you have here I would class as a story. whether it’s a good story or not doesn’t matter. it reads with the fullness in the lines like a singer sings the whole song but the drummer simply plays the beat.The story/poem seems muddled to me it jumps around in character. for example i initially thought that you were the one in love then you mentioned another girl and i wasn’t sure if she was in love with a guy or you were in love with her. But then you mention this guy in S2 so i am none the wiser.However, if i were to find the “beat” in this piece i would write stanza 1 like this:-I’m a pale stroke amongst a fierce spectrum of light,subtle tears, wept without a tender wordwith no feather’s for a flight,but a crescent scar upon my hand.bloody shadow on a bloody earth, wandering over the rain flecked land.

HeeyI think its good maybe change a few things like ‘the door of the car opened, he climbed out’Maybe put abit more description into so like ‘the rusty frame of the car door looked like it was about to fall of, shaking his head, he climbed out and looked at his surroundings’ ??Add little bits of description it always makes things sound or have more impact to the reader.Hope I helped ? I had to do this costume on the fly for The Rocky Horror Picture Show (because we had a special cast of “Dead Celebrities”)What I wore:14 hole red Doc’sLiquid leggings (looks like leather pants when they’re on)Ripped/cut white t-shirt w/ Union Jack spray painted on itBlack leopard print pleatherized jacket (Tripp NYC makes it)black gloves w/ skeleton print w/ fingers cut offStudded beltStudded bracelette cuffGun Necklace (http://www.nndb.com/people/437/000109110/nancy-spungen.jpg)The Hair was pretty intense b/c she had short curly hair & i have long hair. A good trick is to tease it a lot before you put the curlers in it. There is a product called Got2B Glued Spiking freeze spray (http://mp.hairboutique.com/_images/products/got2b_glued_spiking_freeze_spray_350w.jpg) and it’s AMAZING for getting BIG hair. For the shirt (cause I couldn’t track down a Sex Pistols shirt):You’ll need: a white v-neck, a hanger, masking tape, long piece of cardboard (one box flattened), a utility knife, scissors, 1/2 sheet of poster board, blue spray paint, red spray paint, black spray paint (optional), alphabet stencils (optional). All this stuff you can get at Wal Mart.Tape the cardboard to the hanger so you have a flat surface to spray paint while it’s hanging. Make a Union Jack stencil that’ll fit the entire front of the shirt. (If you’re not familiar w/ making stencils, you want to cut where the blue & red are, use the utility knife for that) Hang the shirt on the hanger in an open area making sure the cardboard is in the middle so the paint won’t leak through ( I opened my garage door and hung it from the lip of that), tape the stencil to the shirt (remember you’re going for edge, not perfection) and spray the red first, then the blue. if you want, using the alphabet stencils spray out “sex pistols” on the shirt about 10 minutes after you’ve sprayed the Union Jack (this prevents too much bleeding w/ the paint). once it’s dried, cut the sleeves how you’d like & cut the v-neck out (you can even do a deeper v, if you’d like)for added effect, cut a horizontal hole near your stomach & put fake blood on it. With the make up, lots of texturizing. kinda like you didn’t wash the make up off from the night before, and added more.Another added affect is track marks on your arms. take a smallish brush and mix blue/black/purple (bruising) and put a few dots on your arm near the inside of your elbow. on top of those, take a red lip pencil and draw a dot on top of that.Hopefully I’ve helped

I really believe the Goblem Committee decided (if my information is correct) that loose curls (not over 3″ in dia) would , do to our coming age, would be a styjle of preference of the future.

I would say the problem is the plastic vanes you are using.Recurves and longbows are designed to be used with feathers. The arrow is shot off the shelf and plastic will not give when it contacts the riser and the rest. Go with feathers and the problem is solved. You will never achieve the accuracy you are capable of if you stay with the plastic vanes. The vanes will hit the riser or hang on the rest and you will never be able to shoot with any degree of accuracy.
