Ok one Question you said you dyed your hair black rite also if you did dye your hair black then what kind of blue are you trying to get your hair if you are going for a light blue or something like that then yes you will need to bleach your hair to a really light blond then it will work also if you are doing this at home I would go to sallys they are good use loreal quick blue bleach with a highlift to get rid of the orange color that will happen also use a develapor a 40 voulume and use a good protine treatment for the damage to your hair you may have to blech your hair a few times since its black also use a cap. This is allot of work good luck if you have a other question just ask.

Leather dye is smells pretty awful. The consistency is like a thin hair dye.Dying leather is REALLY tricky though. If you care about the garment at all your really better off saving up a little and having a professional do it.

If using box colors, I would try Revlon. When I dye my friends hair that’s what I use and I find that it works the best. To answer your questions, your hair shouldn’t fade if you wash with hot or cold water. It will however fade in the sun and will do so fast with black hair. Also, you should only see color when you are rinsing the dye out of your hair, not every time. If you used a semi- permanent then that’s totally different. A semi- permanent will wash out after a while.

There are three main steps to any leather dying project.1. Preparing the Leather for Dying.2. Applying the Dye.3. Finishing with a Top Coat. There are several types of Dyes available on the market today. The two most popular are waterbased Pigment and solvent based. Zelikovitz Leathers manufactures both. For the purpose of this guide we will begin with Zelikovitz Professional Pigment Dye. This product is currently available in 19 colors. And finish up with a brief note on our solvent dyes at the end of the guide

I’m sure this is not what you want to hear but you can’t remove a hair dye stain on leather. It is dyed.

You only need to wait about 2 weeks before you color again. I wouldn’t make a habit of it. It will eventually damage your hair. But you should be fine. Over the counter color can be ok if your going darker, stick with the same brand though. Never use OTC color to lighten your hair though.

Look in your phone book for Dry Cleaners that handle leather (not all of them do). They should be able to give you the advice you are looking for.

the striping will make it dry i went from blue black to light brown and it was like straw so you will have to strip it then shampoo yad yad but you will need to deep condition so take your damp hair and gob on the conditioner all over and wait 30 mins then was out and wait a day to keep the hair nice and or after shampooing out the stripper don’t put anything in it and dry it and dye it, but it will be more damaged than if you did it like that i suggest the first option.

NO! That will ruin it I’ve tried it before on my 400 dollar one and now it’s totally trashed:( Ask someone thats a professional to die it. :)

Wait a day to put the second color in. Make sure to take a shower between the times you die it. this will give time for the col,or to soak in better.

Can I just ask what your hair colour is at the moment? I’ve done a few colours before as a trainee hairdresser I have a little experience in Hair Colour. One reason why I would go to a salon, is that if you apply it with your hands, or put the hair colour then rub it in is that your hair wont get as much colour in your hair as if the colourist does it at the salon, with the salons they section your hair and then apply the hair colour, they have the knowledge and it’s also best if you get a colour patch test, it might look ugly, but it’s to see if you are allergic to any of the colour, if you don’t get tested and your allergic, well I’ll leave it to your imagination, it’s horrific. Also if you don’t want much damage to your hair, you may want to try a semi permanent colour, with that you cannot lighten the hair as such, just that it doesn’t have the heavy chemicals in the colour to make it that much lighter. If you are darker and wanting to go a couple shades lighter you NEED to have a permanent hair colour, as you will need to have the heavy chemicals in the hair so that you can modify the hair shaft and lighten the hair.

Mix the solution as described. Shake it up real good! Next put on the gloves. Start at the front next to the roots. Run the bottled through your scalp and gently smear it. Pile your hair up watch the time. Five minutes or so before your time is up, put the rest on the rest of your hair and wait the remaining time. Rinse it really well, and use the conditioner that came with it. It’s not really hard after you do it once! (0:Good Luck!

that product works really well – if you use hair shampoo & conditioner that is for dyed hair.. it lasts a little longer than some of the other hair dyes.. and it has a nicer, shinier look…
